Meet Mary O’Dell, RA, AIA

Mary’s passion for residential architecture sparked in childhood when she built houses with LEGO and designed “dream homes” for her friends. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies with highest honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and subsequently, as a Plym Fellow, both a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. Her education includes a year of study in Versailles, France, at L’Université d’Architecture de Versailles. Mary has worked at firms in Chicago, New York City, and Fairfield County, Connecticut. She has 25+ years of experience in all phases of design and construction, particularly of high end urban residences and single family homes. She excels in space planning and is skilled at detailing both traditional and modern homes. Mary prides herself on marrying the desires of her client not only with her architectural training but also the spirit of the places for which she designs.
