Chris O’Dell

Head of Operations

Chris grew up in Westport, Connecticut where he got his first start in construction after high school working for a local carpenter. He graduated from Michigan State University in three years with a degree in Construction Management and has worked in the industry ever since. The focus of his 20 year career has been high end residential construction in Chicago, Illinois and Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Chris lives in Fairfield with his wife and four children. He retains deep ties to his hometown of Westport, coaching soccer at Staples High School. He can also be spotted coaching on the youth soccer fields of Fairfield.

Lukas Van Zanten

Construction Manager

Lukas Van Zanten is a Westport native with an affinity for building since he was young. From an early age, he volunteered for several youth trips to South America where he built homes, schools and community centers. During summers, he assisted a local carpenter, which is where he first met Chris O’ Dell.

After receiving a degree in residential construction from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2012, Chris invited Lukas to join the O’Dell Group, where they have worked side by side for the last five years.

Lukas lives in Black Rock with his wife Sarah and their son.
