Case Study: Comfort in a Time of Chaos
Joanne Lane, Weston CT
During a Connecticut storm, this Weston, Connecticut home was struck by something heavier than lightning: a 100+ year old oak tree. The fallen oak tree did significant damage to the gable end knocking a hole right through the roof and ceiling. Luckily, no one was injured and the client was quickly referred to us by a friend. We got a call from the client and we were able to step in that same week to repair the damages as well as, get dreaming up additional renovations with architect Mary O’Dell and designer Brooke Crew of Brooke Crew Interiors.
The First Floor
The renovations on the lower level involved refinishing paint coverings, walls, and fixtures in the mudroom, sunroom, kitchen & living room.
The Second Story
What was previously the most damaged part of the home became a newly renovated Master Bedroom and Bathroom suite for the owners.
